Illegal Gay Liberal Mexican Flag Burners

The Immigration Road Show

Given the topics that have preoccupied Congress lately, one wonders why the Republicans don't simply propose a catchall bill aimed at illegal gay liberal Mexican flag burners and be done with it. The immigration debate has been obscured for too long by a fog of distortion and fear, and the House Republicans are gambling that the public won't see through it. The American people deserve better. They deserve action on a good immigration bill, and if this do-nothing Congress won't give it to them, they should elect a Congress that will.

Finally, we are at a point where campaigning in place of policy doesn't work anymore. Everything the Republicans have done in the last six years has been a campaign stop, event, or slogan. The war in Iraq, the immigration debate, those evil gays threatening marriage (i know they are the chief source of difficulty in my marriage...heck, how can L. and I be expected to treat each other with respect and love with those...people...next door?) It's a con game, a trick, and finally, finally, the American people are tired of having their intelligence insulted by these wankers.
